BEAUMONT -- The Cardinal Club will hold a Phone-a-thons on Thursday, June 7, and Thursday, June 14, to promote its annual membership drive. Fifty volunteers and coaches will be on-hand over the two days to make phone calls to local area alumni, season ticket holders, parents, and community supporters, encouraging them to support Lamar Athletics by donating to the Cardinal Club.

Membership donations to the Cardinal Club help fund the over $2,000,000 in scholarships that are awarded each year for Lamar student-athletes.

The goal for this year's membership drive is $500,000.
