Sept. 5, 2014 BEAUMONT, Texas - Entering his eighth year of service as Lamar's video coordinator,
Clint Burges has been promoted to Director of Video Operations announced Director of Athletics
Jason Henderson Friday morning.
"We are very excited to announce this title change for Clint," said Henderson. "He has been loyal to Lamar Athletics, and his responsibilities stretch beyond just overseeing our video operations. He also has numerous game day responsibilities in addition to overseeing our video efforts."
Burges oversaw the launch of the Big Red Sports Network (BRSN) last year. Through the BRSN, Burges employees a staff of 15. The BRSN handles the video streaming efforts for the athletics department regularly producing free on demand content. On game days, the BRSN produces in game features, as well as other in-game content for the video board at Provost Umphrey Stadium.
During the summer, Burges was key in the installation of the replay system mandated by the Southland Conference for the 2014 football season. The SLC became the first FCS league to utilize replay for all home games.
