The Lamar Cardinal football team returns to Provost Umphrey Stadium Saturday looking to get back to the .500 mark when it faces Bacone College at 7 p.m. Fans who come out to support the Cardinals can be part of several promotions taking place throughout the stadium, including live music by the Bretten Low Band.

With Saturday's game being a "Red Out" game, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free red rally towel. In addition to the rally towels the first 200 fans in attendance outside Gate 2 can participate in a T-shirt exchange. Uncle Bob's Self Storage is providing the Red Out shirts in exchange for old high school or college T-shirts.

The Kids Zone will once again take place on the practice fields next to Provost Umphrey Stadium. It will consist of bouncy houses from DelivertheFun.com. The Lamar baseball and women's basketball teams will also be on hand to paint faces and sign autographs. The Kids Zone is set to open at 4:30 p.m. and is for children 12 and under.

Prior to the game, the Bretten Low Band will be performing on the northwest end of Provost Umphrey Stadium. The performance is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m., with kickoff slated to take place at 7. Following the game, tailgating will remain open to all fans until midnight.
