Daucy Crizer is in his 11th season as the sports information director for the Lamar athletics department, returning to his alma mater in August of 1996.

Crizer coordinates publicity efforts for Lamar's 14 athletic teams and oversees the day-to-day operations of the sports information office.

In addition, Crizer serves as the primary media contact for the men's basketball, baseball and men's and women's golf teams. He also serves as the secretary/treasurer for the Cardinal Hall of Honor.

Crizer is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Asccociation (NCBWA).

Crizer returned to Beaumont after spending the previous two years as the assistant sports information director at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La.

Crizer earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from Lamar in 1992 and a master of education in sports administration from Northwestern State in 1995. He and his wife, Jennifer, have 2-year old twin boys - Jackson and Logan.
