Eric Harrington, Ricky Testa, Brian Taylor and Tyler Link were recognized as award winners Saturday night at the 22nd annual Lamar University Baseball Reunion Banquet.

Harrington and Testa were co-winners of the Harold Kincaid Award for outstanding pitching performance during the 2009, while Taylor and Link shared the Al Vincent outstanding hitter award.

Harrington, a right-hander from Port Neches-Groves, compiled an 8-1 record and 3.01 earned run average during his freshman season. He hurled two, complete-game shutouts and struck out 63 batters and walked 26 in 83 2/3 innings.

Testa, a senior right-hander from Mesquite, posted an 8-3 record with a 4.13 ERA and one save. He led the Cardinals with 84 strikeouts with and walked 23 batters in 76 1/3 innings.

Taylor, senior second baseman from Cedar Park, led the Cardinals in hitting with a .371 average. He pounded out a club-high 88 hits, tied for the team lead in home runs with seven and drove in a team-high 59 runs.

Link, a senior from Houston, was second on the team with a .369 batting average, and he scored a school record 73 runs. He matched Taylor's seven homers, drove in 40 runs, drew a team-high 47 bases on balls and stole a team-best 15 bases on 17 attempts.
