Two members of the Lamar University baseball team were second-team selections to the Southland Conference Baseball All-Academic Team.
Representing Lamar are sophomore Eric Harrington and senior Cory Holley.
Harrington, who has a 3.26 GPA in kinesiology, went 8-3 with a 5.02 ERA, finishing second on the team in victories. Harrington appeared in 17 games, starting 14. He had four complete games and one shutout, striking out 58 in 100.1 innings.
Holley, who had a 3.68 GPA in general studies, led Lamar with four saves this past season. He went 1-1 with a 3.53 ERA, striking out 24 in 35.2 innings.
Lamar went 35-26 this season, capturing the Southland Conference tournament title and earning a berth into the NCAA Tournament.
