BEAUMONT - Lamar University's baseball staff will host three sessions next summer of the 2010 Jim Gilligan Baseball Camp.
Session I of the camp, which is for players ages 6 through 12, will run from June 7-11. Session II, also for players 6-12, is set for June 14-18. Session III, for players 6-18, will be conducted June 21-24. All sessions will be held at Lamar's Vincent-Beck Stadium, off Florida Avenue on the Lamar campus.
Cost for half-day camps (9 a.m. until noon each day) in Sessions I and II is $175 per camper. Cost for all-day camps (9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day) is $250 per camper.
Session III - for players ages 6-18 -- will consist of a competitive edge hitting camp from 9 a.m. until noon each day and a competitive edge pitching camp from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Costs are $175 for the hitting camp, $175 for the pitching camp or $300 for both camps.
