OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -Dwayne Curtis had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Mississippi and five other Rebels put double digits on the board in a 108-70 rout of Lamar on Friday.
Chris Warren scored 16 points with eight assists and Kenny Williams added 14 points with 15 rebounds as the Rebels (3-0) broke the 100-point barrier for only the second time since 1998.
David Huertas added 13 points for the Rebels and Zach Graham and Eniel Polynice scored 12 apiece. Mississippi shot 57 percent in the game and led 53-31 at halftime.
Lamar (1-1) was led by Lamar Sanders with 14 points. Justin Nabors had 13 and Currye Todd tacked on 10, but the Cardinals could not overcome a slow start, managing only 2-of-18 from the field in the opening 10 minutes.
Lamar never came within 20 points in the second half. The largest lead for the Rebels came at 102-58 on a 3-pointer by Brian Smith with 3:18 left to play.
The Cardinals sank just 41 percent of its shots and had 17 turnovers.
