Kirt, who played for the Cardinals from 2010-12, worked with the defensive line for six months before switching to the offensive side of the ball. While at Lamar, Kirt was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll three times. Kirt was active in several community service events and served as president and vice president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Kirt prepped at Madison High School in Houston where he played for legendary coach Ray Seals, the NFL's High School Coach of the Year in 2009. While at Madison, Kirt lettered in football, basketball and track. Kirt earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Lamar in 2012 and is currently pursuing his master's in education administration. |
