2014 (Sophomore): One of the more veteran linemen on the squad, Craven played in and started all 12 games last season (11 at left guard and one at center) … Helped produce the school’s all-time top quarterback in terms of completions, passing yards, yards of total offense and touchdown passes … Blocked for an offense that finished the year ranked fifth nationally in total offense (503 ypg), seventh in passing (314.3 ypg) and eighth in scoring (39.6 ppg).

2013 (Freshman): Played in 10 games, earning six starts at left guard ... Blocked for running back Kade Harrington who would go on to set a school freshman rushing record, and earn Southland Conference Freshman of the Year honors ... Protected for honorable mention All-SLC quarterback Caleb Berry who recorded the best individual season by any quarterback in school history.

High School: Played last season at the Naval Academy Prep School in Newport, Rhode Island ... Helped Klein Collins High School to an 11-1 record and an undefeated District 13-5A title as a junior ... Was named Second-Team All-District 13-5A as a senior as the Lions finished 8-3.

(BEAUMONT, TX) The Big Red SN Guys, Jordan and Wesley, deliver their last Chalk Talk of the season - recapping the big win over #17 McNeese State 27-24 and the season as a whole.


Flight Plan::Football

The Lamar Cardinals (7-4 OVR) (4-3 SLC) head to Cowboy Stadium in Lake Charles, LA to compete against McNeese State (6-4 OVR) (4-3 SLC) in their final game of the season. Game time is slated for 6PM.


Highlights: UIW 20 - LU 31

(BEAUMONT, TX) The Lamar Cardinals take home the close win over Incarnate Word with a final score of 20-31. Lamar had yet another record breaking game when Mark Roberts became the first player in Lamar history to record 1,000 receiving yards.

The Cardinals will travel next week to McNeese to take on the Cowboys.
