BEAUMONT, Texas - Single game tickets for each of Lamar University's six home football games at Provost Umphrey Stadium will go on sale to the general public at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at the Montagne Center Ticket Office. Fans can get an early jump by purchasing single game tickets online at www.lamarcardinals.com beginning Sunday, Aug. 1. Individual ticket prices will range from $15 to $25 per ticket, with group prices as low as $10, depending upon seating location and the number of tickets purchased. Season tickets are still available for as low as $60 for six home games.

"The university understands the need to offer affordable ticket buying options for families and businesses during these difficult economic times," said Interim Athletics Director Larry Tidwell. "For the return of football to be as successful as we know it can be, we need the support of the entire Southeast Texas community. We believe that these ticket prices will allow everyone the opportunity to come to the games and be a part of the experience."

Ticket prices for single games are divided into three categories: 1) Individual Ticket Sales, 2) Small Group Ticket Sales, and 3) Large Group Ticket Sales. The following shows pricing for each category by seating section:

INDIVIDUAL

• White Seating Section - $15 per ticket
• Green Seating Section - $20 per ticket
• Red Seating Section - $25 per ticket
• Gold seating Section - N/A

SMALL GROUP (20-49 tickets)

• White Seating Section - $12 per ticket
• Green Seating Section - $17 per ticket
• Red Seating Section - $22 per ticket
• Gold seating Section - N/A

LARGE GROUP (50+ tickets)

• White Seating Section - $10 per ticket
• Green Seating Section - $15 per ticket
• Red Seating Section - $20 per ticket
• Gold seating Section - N/A

Lamar will play an 11-game schedule this season, with six games being played in the newly renovated Provost Umphrey Stadium. The first home game will be against Webber International on Sept. 11, followed by home games against Sam Houston State on Oct. 2, Langston on Oct. 9, South Alabama on Oct. 16, South Dakota on Nov. 13, and Oklahoma Panhandle State on Nov. 20. Kickoff for each of Lamar's home games is set for 6 p.m.

Season tickets for this historic campaign are currently on sale. The purchase of season tickets is the most affordable option for enjoying every game of the 2010 season.
