BEAUMONT - Because of high interest from fans, alumni and students Lamar Athletics is offering an all-inclusive game experience to and from Lake Charles for the September 4th game against McNeese State University. For the minimal price of $50/person, travel guests will receive bus transportation from our partner Sun Travel, a general admission ticket into the game (seated in the Lamar section), and food/beverages on the bus.

Transportation will depart from the Montagne Center at 4:00pm on September 4th and return following the game. Interested fans may call the Lamar Athletic Development Office at 880-2319 to make reservations before 5:00pm on Monday, August 23rd.




Lamar will play an 11-game schedule this season, with six games being played in the newly renovated Provost Umphrey Stadium. The first home game will be against Webber International on Sept. 11, followed by home games against Sam Houston State on Oct. 2, Langston on Oct. 9, South Alabama on Oct. 16, South Dakota on Nov. 13, and Oklahoma Panhandle State on Nov. 20. Kickoff for each of Lamar's home games is set for 6 p.m.

Season tickets for this historic campaign are currently on sale. The purchase of season tickets is the most affordable option for enjoying every game of the 2010 season.
