BEAUMONT, Texas - Fans attending Saturday's Prairie View A&M at Lamar football game will be treated to two tremendous performances at halftime, as the nationally renowned Prairie View "Marching Storm" will follow Lamar's "Showcase of Southeast Texas."
The nationally renowned Prairie View A&M marching band has performed at the Rose Bowl Parade and been featured in such publications as the New York Times.
The Prairie View band, which has not performed in Beaumont since 1998, will also entertain fans prior to the game in the tailgating area of the Provost Umphrey Stadium parking lot starting at 2 p.m.
Approximately 3,000 tickets remain for Saturday's 7 p.m. game, which is the home opener for the Cardinals. Ticket prices range from $15 to $30. Season ticket packages in all price ranges are available, as are season parking plans, which range from $50 to $100 for individual spots, or $500 for a block of four spots in the tailgating area.
