FRISCO, Texas -

Former Cardinal standout Johnny Fuller is on the receivers ballot. Fuller was a two-time first-team All-Southland Conference selection during the 1966 and 1967 seasons. Following his career at LU, he was selected in the fourth round of the 1968 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He had an eight-year NFL career that saw him spend time with the 49ers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears.
A blue-ribbon panel of approximately 80 individuals with coaching, administrative and media expertise will also participate in the balloting, and the fan voting will be included in the final tally. The overall balloting includes more than 200 outstanding former and current student-athletes and 15 legendary coaches that have patrolled Southland sidelines. The positional and coaching ballots will continue throughout the remainder of the season.
The weekly Facebook voting will also coincide with the Southland Conference Television Network football broadcasts throughout the season.
