BEAUMONT - The visiting 74th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns seemed to have the answers on Saturday afternoon as the Lamar men's tennis team fell 7-0 at Thompson Family Tennis Center.

The Cajuns started off hot, picking up a pair of 8-2 victories to secure the doubles point as Jake Wynan and Rick de Groot dropped Rob Lee and Mikko Rajamaki, and the team of Hunter and Yates Johnson beat Steven McMullan and Bruno Snyder.

Trey Crysel and Carl-Philip Lindqvist trailed 4-6 at court three to Damian Farinola and Coleman Wahlborg before the point was decided.

In No. 1 singles, Lee dropped a tight opening set 7-6 before falling 6-4 in the second to Jake Wynan, and de Groot knocked off Lindqvist 6-4, 6-1 at the second spot.
