ARLINGTON, Texas - The Lamar University men's tennis team earned the doubles point, but was swept in singles competition in a 6-1 loss to host UT Arlington in a Southland Conference match Monday.

Lamar (10-7 overall, 0-2 SLC) got victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the match, but UT Arlington dominated the singles.

Lamar hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a non-conference match at 10 a.m. Friday.
