The Lamar University men's tennis team takes to the road again this weekend, taking on Arkansas-Little Rock, Grambling State and Indiana State in Little Rock, Ark.
The men opened the 2006 season on the road last weekend, dropping matches to Prairie View A&M and Tulsa in Oklahoma.
Lamar opens the weekend with a match against Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday, and will play two on Saturday, facing Grambling in the morning, and Indiana State in the afternoon
Lamar is seeking their first team win, but several individuals and doubles tandems have already picked up wins this season. Filip Kanczula and Jacob Eastwood picked up wins in singles play last week against Prairie View, while all three doubles teams defeated the Panthers. Kanczula and Maciej Bogusz paired for a win, Eastwood and Evan Hayes won and Tyler Cobb and Brett Sticker posted a win.
The Cardinals open the season with 11 matches on the road, before playing host to Alcorn State at home on February 18.
