BEAUMONT - The Lamar University men's tennis team returns to action on Tuesday at 2 p.m. when they host the Wildcats of Northwestern University at the Cardinals Courts.

The Cardinals enter the match at 5-10 on the year, having lost its last match to Iowa 6-1 last Wednesday at the Cardinal Courts. Northwestern enters the match at 6-9 on the year, having dropped its last match to Wisconsin.

This will be only the second meeting between the two teams, with Northwestern holding a 1-0 series advantage.

After Tuesday's tilt with the Wildcats the Cards will be back in action against New Mexico State on Thursday at 1 p.m. in San Antonio, Texas.
