TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Samuel Kosgei and Francis Kasagule will run at the NCAA Cross Country Championship on Monday at 12:45 p.m. at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course located at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Ind.

The men race gets things started with a 10,000 meter race will follow the women's race which is scheduled to begin at 12:08 p.m.

Kosgei, a native of, Kapchorwa, Uganda, qualified for his second appearance at the NCAA Championship meet with a second place finish at the South Central Regional last weekend in Waco, Texas. He has been one of the top runners in the country this season, winning the Notre Dame Invitational as well as the Southland Conference championship.

As a sophomore in 2006 Kosgei qualified for the NCAA meet with a second place finish at the regional meet, but an injury limited him to a 55th place finish.

Kasagule, a native of Gayhza, Uganda, qualified for his third straight trip to the national meet with an eighth place finish at the South Central Regional. He is a two-time All American for Lamar, placing 29th as a freshman in 2006 and grabbing a 24th place finish a year ago.
