BEAUMONT, Texas - The Lamar University women's basketball team will attempt to move to 7-0 in Southland Conference play when it hosts UTSA at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 in the Montagne Center.

Lamar (16-4 overall, 6-0 SLC) is the only unbeaten team in the conference. The Lady Cardinals enter the game on a six-game winning streak and have won nine of their last 10 contests.

Lamar is coming off an 86-68 win over Sam Houston State on Wednesday night, while UTSA (10-8, 4-1) claimed a 70-59 win over Texas State on Wednesday. The Roadrunners are 1 ½ games behind Lamar in the SLC's West Division.

Jenna Plumley leads Lamar in scoring at 13.9 points per game. Plumley remains among the top 30 in the nation in 3-point field goals, assists and steals.
