Megan McDougald to Miss the 2005-06 Season as a Medical Redshirt

McDougald played in all 27 games as a junior last season.

BEAUMONT - Lamar senior women's basketball player Megan McDougald will miss the 2005-06 season as a medical redshirt, announced the Lamar Athletic Department on Monday.

"Although Megan's presence will be missed on the court this season, she will continue to aid our program from the bench," Lady Cardinals Head Coach Leonard Drake said.

McDougald will return for the 2006-07 season to complete her eligibility with the Lady Cardinals.
