The Lamar basketball tip-off banquet is set for Thursday, Oct. 16 at the Montagne Center and tickets are on-sale now.

Individual seats are $75 with open seating or you may purchase one of two table options. The Underwriter's Table is $2,500 for a table of eight and includes priority seating near the main podium and one student-athlete will be assigned to your group. The Patron Table is available for $1,000 and includes a table of eight and one student-athlete will be assigned to your group as well.

Former NBA player and coach John Lucas will be the featured speaker. Lucas spent 14 years in the NBA as a player and was a member of the Houston Rockets 1986 NBA Finals team. He also coached the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers for parts of six seasons, in addition to a stint as an assistant with the Denver Nuggets.
