BEAUMONT, Texas - The Lamar Lady Cardinals look to extend their non-conference winning streak at the Montagne Center to 35 games when they host Centenary (La.) at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Lamar (1-1) opened its home season in impressive style Monday with an 87-42 victory over UT Tyler. Kalis Loyd led Lamar with 14 points and 14 rebounds for her 19th career double-double.
"We had a good, loud crowd," Loyd said after Monday's win. "That helped us get pumped up."
