Rim to Rim with Lady Cardinals Basketball
Lamar Cardinals.com sat down with junior Jasmine Stewart for our first "Rim to Rim" discussion. Heres what the Chicago, Ill. native had to say. LC: As you start your second season with the Lady Cardinals, what do you think will be your strongest asset to bring the team? JS: I think my strongest asset will be rebounding and being aggressive on the defensive end. LC: What goals have you set for yourself this season? JS: My goals this season is to come back from this knee surgery and help my team win anyway I can. LC: If you weren't playing college basketball, what sport would you be playing? JS: If I wasn't playing basketball, I would probably play golf. LC: What do you most look forward to after graduation? JS: After I graduate, I look forward to applying to physical therapy school and pursue my dream of becoming a physical therapist LC: If you could go anywhere in the world for vacation for free, where would you go? JS: Paris, France LC: What is something that most people do not realize about you? JS: That I am not as quite as I seem. I actually talk a lot. LC: Who has had the biggest impact on your life outside the basketball arena and why? JS: My mom and my grandmother. Because they have been there through the struggles and never gave up. LC: If you could play a game in any arena in the world where would it be?? JS: Madison Square Garden
