LC: What made you choose Lamar University?

CP: I felt the love on this team during my visit as they were all like a family. With all the international players like myself, it was so cultural and I fit right in.

LC: What goals have you set for yourself this season?

CP: To be the best I can be and try to improve on my game every day with aspirations of being freshman of the year in the Southland Conference.

LC: If you weren't playing college basketball, what sport would you be playing?

CP: Netball

LC: Who is the most important person in your life and why?

CP: My mother, the chances and risks she takes to help me has made me become a better person in life.

LC: What was the most memorable game of your career?

CP: Playing against Carrollton Christian to go to the TAPPS state championship game, as our team came together and played with one heartbeat - it was incredible.

LC: What is your most prized possession and why?

CP: I have no material prize possession, but my family is my life I can't do anything without them.

LC: What do you think is the most important part of building a Championship team?

CP: Team work as a family generates passion and that pushes you to want it more than anything else.

LC: Do you have any special talents that that most people don't know about?

CP: I sing gospel, classical, and opera.

LC: What are your plans for life after basketball?

CP: To return to Trinidad as an engineer.

LC: What are your first impressions of Lady Cardinals basketball?

CP: We are Family!!!
