VALLEJO, Calif. - Lamar shot a 319 and climbed into second place following Sunday's second round of the Hiddenbrooke Intercollegiate at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Club.

Linda Persson led the charge for the Lady Cardinals as she shot a 78 to cut three strokes off her first round total. She is tied for fifth at 159. Channing Norton and Fabienne Haremza are tied for 11th after matching 82-80--162 scores.

Therese Nilsson's 86 put her in a tie for 36th place with a 169 score, while Lina Nilsson-Balfe is tied for 54th at 154 following her second round 81.

Jennel Alexander is tied for 68th at 86-91--177.

Northern Arizona passed Central Arkansas into first place with a 320 on Sunday and sits just two shots ahead of Lamar with a 645 total. UCA is in third at 648, while Drake and Wyoming are tied for fourth at 651.

Sunday's round was not completed until Monday morning following the suspension of play due to darkness.

The final round will be held on Monday.
