Southland Women's Golf Championship Tournament Postponed until Tuesday

KINDER, La. - The 2009 Southland Conference Women's Golf Tournament has been moved from the Koasati Pines Golf Course in Kinder, La., to the neighboring Lake Charles Country Club with tee time at eight a.m. Tuesday morning. In the two days prior to the regularly scheduled start for the women's golf tournament, Koasati Pines received eight inches of rain leaving the course unfit for play. A practice round will be played Monday at the country club and the
tournament will begin on Tuesday with 36 holes being played. The final 18
will be played on Wednesday as originally scheduled.
