BEAUMONT, Texas - The Lamar University soccer team has scheduled a number of camps for the spring and summer at the Lamar Soccer Complex.

The first camp is a two-day camp for boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade on March 14-15. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon both days. Check-in is set for 8:30 a.m. March 14.

The cost for the spring camp is $75 per camper with a $10 discount if registered by March 1. There is also a $10 discount for additional family members and a $!0 per player team discount for teams of 10 or more.

A one-day spring college ID camp is set for May 11. The spring college camp, which is for students from eighth grade through 12th grade, runs from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Representatives from several colleges including Houston, North Texas, Northwestern State and Prairie View A&M will be at the camp.

The registration fee is $115, with a $10 discount if registered by April 16.

Summer camps for boys and girls from ages 4 to 18 will be held the weeks of July 8-12 and July 22-26, with full-day and half-day camps available both weeks.

The cost is $145 per camper for the half-day camp and $290 per camper for the full-day camp. Family, group and team discounts are available.
