Lamar University had 59 student-athletes named to the Capital One Bank/Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the spring semester.
Five student-athletes from Lamar University will compete in the first round of the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships next week in Austin, Texas.
Lamar University's Francis Kasagule and Samuel Kosgei each won an individual event as the Southland Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships came to a close late Sunday night.
