82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Home Page

AUSTIN, Texas - Lamar University distance runners Samuel Kosgei and Drew Bean will take the track in the men's 5,000 meter run Wednesday night at the University of Texas-Mike A. Myers Stadium at the 82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays.

The two harriers will hit the track at 7:20 p.m. for the 5,000 meter run, the first of nine events Lamar will be running in during the meet.

Kosgei, a Kapchorwa, Uganda native, earned NCAA Division I Indoor All American honors in the indoor 5,000 meter run on March 13, in College Station Texas.

Joining Bean and Kosgei for the Texas relays will be Jamal Nash, who will run the 400 meter hurdles, Ewan Simpson who will compete in the 1,500 meter run and the men's 4x400 meter relay team. On the women's side Linnea Collin will run the 100 meter dash, Megan Bibbs and Adrianne Johnson will run the 100 meter hurdles, Angel Basset will run the 400 meter hurdles and the women's 4x100 relay team will also be competing.
