AUSTIN - Lamar University athletes Renee Graham, Amanda King and Clerc Koenck took to the track Saturday at the Midwest Regional track meet at Mike A. Meyers Stadium at the University of Texas, but failed to qualify for the national Championships.

Graham finished in 10th place and King took 11th in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase, running times of 10:57.08 and 11:01.98 respectively. Jennifer Barringer of the University of Colorado finished in first place in the steeple, running a 10:26.04.

Koenck finished in 13th place in the women's 1,500 meter run, posting a time of 4:59.09. Desiraye Osburn of Wichita State won the 1,500, running a 4:20.85.

The regional track meet concludes the season for the Cardinals.
