EDINBURG - Lamar University fell in four games Friday night to the Texas-Pan American Broncs, and will look to pick up its first win of the season when the Lady Cardinal volleyball team faces Idaho State in the final match of the UTPA Tournament Saturday morning at 10.

Lamar, which fell in five games to Oral Roberts earlier in the day, lost by scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-20 and 25-21. The Lady Cardinals hit just .074 against the Broncs after a solid offensive outing earlier against ORU.

Sophomore Jayme Bazile and freshman Megan Schwartz led Lamar with eight kills apiece, while sophomore Kaleigh Wright notched a career-high 20 digs in the match. Bazile, who hit .467 for the match, added four total blocks for Lamar.

The Broncs, who finished with 12 service aces, were led offensively by Marci Logan with 15 kills. Two other UTPA players finished with at least 10 kills
