BEAUMONT - As the Lamar University volleyball team prepares to host Southland Conference West division leader UT San Antonio Friday on Friday night at 7 p.m., plans have made to Pink Out McDonald Gym in honor of breast cancer awareness.

All fans in attendance of Fridays match are encouraged to wear pink for the Pink Out McDonald Gym night, sponsored by the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, as a way to celebrate breast cancer awareness month. The ZTA's will be selling pink T-shirts for $12.00, pink ribbons for $1.00 and a table will be set up for breast cancer awareness education.

Last year the pink out match against the University of Central Arkansas set the record for the largest crowd at McDonald Gym, as 502 fans packed the house for a 3-0 Lady Cardinals victory.
