Lady Cards Host Southeastern Louisiana Saturday at 3 p.m.

BEAUMONT, Texas - The Lamar University volleyball team hosts Southland Conference East division foe Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at McDonald Gym.

The Lady Cardinals enter Saturday's match with a 7-8 overall record and a 5-1 mark in SLC play after winning their last three against UTSA, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Nicholls State. The Lady Lions come into the contest with a 7-9 overall record and a 2-4 mark in SLC play.

The Lady Cards are led by Genevieve Gladle who is averaging a team-high 2.36 kills and 3.25 digs per set. Shalayne Blythe is averaging 2.18 kills per set and Ashley Todd has paced the LU attack with 9.5 assists per set. Andrea Hamilton and Lauren Holdorff have been solid defensively this season, averaging 3.42 digs and 0.91 blocks per set respectively.

Southeastern, who is coming off a 3-2 win over Sam Houston on Tuesday night, is led by Lauren Mayer's 2.55 Kills per set while Arianne Cruckshank is averaging 7.96 Assists per set. The Lady Lions defense is led by Margaret Pittman who averages 2.34 Digs per set.

After Saturday's showdown with Southeastern, the Lady Cardinals will be back in action next weekend when they travel to McNeese State on Friday night and Stephen F. Austin on Saturday.
