Five Questions With Taylor Campbell

Question 1: As a redshirt this season, what have you thought about your experiences on the division I level of volleyball?

Answer: The game itself is faster so the pace of the game is different. Redshirting has been good because it has given me the opportunity to see what it takes to be a collegiate athlete. It's been exciting too. Winning conference was awesome.

Question 2: What did you learn by not being on the court this season?

Answer: I've learned what kind of game I want to bring to the court when I do get my chance to get out there. I've learned a lot how to play on the outside and how to make smart shot selection.

Question 3: What was it like when you all clinched the regular season championship?

Answer: There was so much excitement going into the last game, that once it was over it was like `we did it, it's finally here'. There was so much emotion going into that day with senior day and everybody knew Molli was going to get the kill on match point. Once it finally happened it was so exciting.

Question 4: What are looking forward to the most next season?

Answer: Just getting on the court and playing.

Question 5: If you could change places with any teammate of yours, who would it be and why?

Answer: I would change places with either Ashley Todd or Adrianne Meengs because I like the way both of them play. They play differently, but they play and compose themselves on the court is inspiring to me. Plus I have always wanted to be a setter. They get to touch every third ball, so you're always involved.
