FOOTBALL TICKET POLICIES

GENERAL PUBLIC

1. Season Tickets in the VIP Gold and Big Red sections require a seat donation to the Cardinal Club, which supports all the programs of Lamar University Athletics. A three-year purchase agreement is also required to purchase seats in these two sections.
2. The Cardinal Club donation required to purchase season tickets in the VIP Gold and Big Red sections falls within the guidelines of IRS Publication 526 and is therefore 80% deductible in most situations. Please consult your tax advisor regarding this information.
3. Cardinal Club payments made after September 1, 2009 do not need to be duplicated to purchase season tickets in the VIP Gold and Big Red sections. In order to apply these previous payments to your season ticket order, please visit the ticket office or order by phone. The online ticket ordering system will not allow for credits for previous payments.
4. Football season tickets are not transferable, except to a surviving spouse.
5. To sit with friends and family, each purchaser's ticket order should be turned in together at the ticket window, or mailed together in the same envelope. Each order form should include the names of those that should be seated together.
6. Payment for season tickets must be made from an account (check or credit card) owned by the ticket holder. The payment account name will be used as the ticket owner of record.
7. Season tickets purchased with a company check or credit card will be considered property of the company. Corporate season ticket holders should provide the university with a company contact for all correspondence from the Lamar University ticket office.
8. Season Ticket holders are responsible for notifying the ticket office of any change of address, or of any change in company contact for tickets owned by a business. Failure to remit payment for tickets and Cardinal Club donations by the renewal deadline may result in the forfeiture of the seat reservation and resale of the seats.
9. Children two (2) years and under are not required to have a ticket, as it is assumed they will be seated in the lap of an accompanying adult. If the purchaser would like a seat for the child, a ticket will need to be purchased.
10. Single game ticket prices are subject to change.

LAMAR UNIVERSITY FACULTY/STAFF

1. Season Tickets - LU Faculty and Staff will receive a 50% discount on Green & White Section Season Tickets. This is limited to a maximum of four (4) tickets. VIP Gold and Big Red Seating are not discounted. Please contact the Montagne Center Ticket Office at 880-1715 for any questions. Consult your tax advisor for details regarding this taxable benefit.
2. Single Game Tickets - For all Lamar University home Football games, Lamar University Faculty and Staff are entitled to one (1) complimentary ticket in the Green or White sections, based upon availability. A valid Lamar University Faculty/Staff ID must be shown to pick up tickets. Tickets can be picked up starting two hours prior to game time at any of the four (4) Provost Umphrey Stadium Gates. No advance pickups will be allowed.

LAMAR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
(Including alumni who paid the athletic fee in the 2009-10 academic year)

1. All LU students with a valid ID will receive free admittance for one (1) into the game, based upon availability. Students may also purchase one (1) guest ticket for $5.
2. Students may pick up tickets for each home game at the following times:
1. Tuesday through Friday prior to each home game between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm at the Montagne Center Ticket Office, or

2. The day of the home game beginning at 4:00pm at the Provost Umphrey Stadium Ticket Box Office, located at gates 3 & 4. All student tickets in Provost Umphrey Stadium provide reserved seating in the student section.

LAMAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FACULTY/STAFF/STUDENTS

1. With a valid ID, LIT faculty, staff, and students may purchase one (1) single game ticket in the Green or White section at 50% off the regular ticket price on game day. The ticket procedure is as follows:
1. Valid Lamar Institute of Technology Faculty/Staff/Student ID must be shown to pick up tickets.
2. Tickets can be picked up starting two hours prior to game time.
3. No advance pickups will be allowed.
4. Tickets may be picked up at any of the nine (9) Provost Umphrey Stadium ticket windows.

LAMAR FOOTBALL LETTERMEN

1. All football lettermen can receive one (1) free ticket into each home football game.

2. Lettermen tickets will be provided in the Green or White seating sections and are based upon availability.
